Visiting new churches can be DAUNTING. We want to answer your questions to help you feel comfortable with your visit. You should expect to be welcomed at the door, talked to, seated, and informed. Who knows, you may even be able to join us for lunch!
Where do I park? Coming around the right-hand side of the building, the main entrance is actually on the back of the church building. We have several guest parking spots with signs that say ‘Welcome, Guest Parking’. Feel free to park there and follow the walkway into the main doors.
What kind of church is this? Old? Modern? Big? Little? The church building is a smaller, more traditional church where we welcome you at the door and we will have a greeter to help you navigate to the couple of areas we use like our nursery, fellowship hall, restrooms, children / youth rooms, and the main auditorium (though we don’t think you’ll find it too difficult)
What do I wear? We have a mix of families and singles from every decade and our dress is just as varied. We have some that enjoy wearing suits and ties, some dresses, some business casual, and some in jeans. We want you feel at home, so dress comfortably and join our family.
What’s the service like? We typically have our service on Sunday mornings from 10:45am to noon-ish. We typically gather for some announcements, sing some songs, have a prayer time, sing more songs, have a preacher preach, and close with a song and prayer. Monthly, we have something called Communion to celebrate and remember what Jesus did for us by eating bread and juice (like His Last Supper). We do this with small cups available at the front during the communion time – if you are already a Christian, come and commune with us! If not, just chill.
Do you have childcare? Children’s church? We do have a nursery for children up to 5 years old and then children older than that sit with us in the main service. Don’t worry about some noise and normal interruptions by the kiddos – we’ve all been there, we understand, and we won’t judge you because your child is a child. If you want to bring a coloring book or small toys, feel free. We will have some materials for children of first-time guests to help your children have something to do and feel welcome too.
Do you have anything other than your service at 10:45? Yes, on Sunday mornings we offer Discipleship Groups from 9:30-10:30am for all age groups and several groups for adults. On Wednesday evenings, we have a prayer meeting from 7-8pm for youth and adults. Lastly, we host events and smaller groups at different times and frequencies – just ask us if there’s something you’re looking for!
Can I bring food or drink with me? ABSOLUTELY, we might even have some coffee to offer if you so desire. We ask that drinks have a lid to minimize spilling.
